John Alexander his stepfather aged 52 a 'house painter' born at
St Georges, London. Louisa his mother aged 48, born in Yarmouth and
Alice Newnham his sister-in-law aged 20 a 'mineral water bottler'
born in Newington. On the 25th December 1896 Frank Akerman aged 21
a 'Carman' of 92 Princes road, father John Akerman (deceased) an
'engineer' married Jessie Eliza Newnham aged 20 of the same address
whose father Richard Newnham was a 'mattress maker' at St Mary, Princes
Road, Lambeth. The witnesses were John Alexander and Alice Newnham.
Alice is the link between them all and I am hoping that further research may
turn up a connection between Richard and Alexander the paternal side of
William Richards ancestry. For further research on the maternal side please
continue.
